Mr Bates please be advised that you have at least one avid reader of your monthly blogs! Serious issues and a touch of humour make for interesting reading. Keep up the good work! With regards to the ongoing parking issues may I offer another strategy? If a copy of the winning entry for the parking competition could be reproduced as a leaflet maybe these could be placed under the windscreens of offending cars. I think that the wonderful banner cannot be seen by these people because of the pedestrians standing outside school waiting to collect the children. It is so annoying that irresponsible drivers choose to ignore the zig zag lines outside schools, putting pupils and others in danger. Maybe they would re-think their actions if they had a ‘hard copy’ of the important message in their hands.
Looking forward to your next blog.
    Regards.
